Guiding Principles

  • We’re all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let’s treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural but kindness is required. Everyone has the right to their opinions. If conversations reach an impasse, please:

    • Refrain from disrupting the chat

    • Agree to disagree

    • Move on respectfully

    • No shaming and judgment allowed. Practice empathy, kindness and understanding. We’re here to support each other, not criticize.

  • To maintain a vibrant community, it's essential to be an active participant! Don't just lurk - engage with others, share your thoughts, and ask questions. Seek help when needed, but also offer support and guidance to those around you. Show kindness, empathy, and understanding, and be willing to learn from others. By doing so, we can create a vibrant and inclusive community where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to grow and thrive together.

  • Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender and identity will not be tolerated.

  • Give more than you take to this community. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren’t allowed.

  • What’s shared in the community should stay in the community. Being a part of this community requires mutual trust and respect.

  •  Let’s focus on supportive and fact-based discussions. Please no:

    • Cause/cure questions or posts about Autism

    • Conspiracy theories

    • Anti-vax rhetoric
